We're easing into summer fairly well. Gahee is taking two summer school classes and George is teaching some summer school classes. I'm being somewhat lazy this summer - no teaching, spending time with grandchildren, doing some projects around the house, and spending some time down at Osage Beach, MO in our little travel trailer every now and then.
But all of us are waiting with Ali. He is waiting for acceptance notification to some universities in Idaho....and he expects to hear something this week. Meanwhile he is stuck in opposite days and nights. When we are sleeping, he is with friends.....and when we are awake, he sleeps. Lucky him....no classes to take, so he has a lot of free time, but I'm sure he is anxious to hear of his acceptance. I'm anxious for him.
Ali recently mentioned that he wants to get back to a regular sleep schedule....but so far it's not happening. He woke up the other evening, came downstairs, and asked, "What day is it?" He looked grateful that he had not slept through two days. Things will change though, and I'm very optimistic he'll hear good news soon.
Gahee had a similar time schedule before summer classes started. She would sleep in the evenings and then be up most of the night ... sort of on Korea time and able to communicate with friends and family more easily.
With such opposite schedules from time to time, it's really quiet around the house. However, when classes are in session we're all on similar schedules and life gets back to "normal."
