Ali is on "Standby"

Ali received his official acceptance to Boise State University and now is waiting for his officials to send scholarship information to the Admissions Office so it can issue him an I-20.  He'd like to go home and visit his family before starting his freshman year, but he'll need the I-20 form....so he's on "standby."

Meanwhile, he spends time with friends and has gone fishing in Little Dixie Lake in nearby Millersburg, MO.

I know he is anxious to get things settled - have time to visit his family and then begin his new adventure in Idaho!  Yesterday he told me he signed up for a dormitory room.  Ah...that brings back memories from my college days.

By next week he and I will begin to organize his things and clean his room so that I can begin getting it ready for Vi and Anh.  We'll probably have to move him to the main floor guest room where we have miscellaneous items for grandchildren to play with, an electronic keyboard, and other "stuff" we haven't organized.  At least he'll have a bed and bath to use if he's still here when the girls arrive.
