Gahee brought the puzzle to the dining room table a couple of days ago and began working. She tried teaching Ali how to do it, but it is a very challenging puzzle with 1,000 small pieces. Quite frankly, doing such an activity didn't seem to make much sense to him. He would rather play video games or read the news on the Internet. He gave it a try, though, but it is definitely not his thing.
I had sat down with her the other day and thought I would work on it. After five minutes, I felt very discouraged. It was so hard!! Yet Gahee sat there working on the puzzle, totally engrossed. I think she hopes to finish it before we leave on vacation this Friday.
I certainly admire her fortitude! The other day she worked on it until 4 in the morning! Is she obsessed??? Maybe a little. I think mostly she is bored with summer school and looks forward to this last week of classes to be over with.
